Making Of Ceramic Jewellery

Creating ceramic jewelry is an absorbing experience in its own way. While only the imagination is the limit to experimenting with avant-garde styles and portray your signature style through descriptive art on clap molds.

Step 1:

To begin with, clay is kneaded and beaten, rolled over to smoothen the surface, and designed over. Artisans immaculately sieve designs on the clay.

Florals and beaded arts are quite a trend when it comes to ceramic for they make it easier to dye such imprints and the final outcome is effortlessly attractive.

Step 2:

As and when the design is completed, the artisans then dye the clay mold using acrylic paints which give an alluring look to the piece.

Step 3:

Before it is prepared to glaze, the mold is beaded with holes to easily attach the chord with the necklace. In the case of the necklace, only one hole is created while for earrings, it’s two.

Step 4:

The delicate clay molds are handled with care until they are finally treated in the furnace for 15-20 minutes at 275 degrees.

Step 5:

The artisans choose to sometimes paint the beads and pendants before glazing them, once it’s dried completely.  for it gives a rich natural hue.
