The wedding season in Bollywood started with the famous #DeepVeer wedding celebrations and then came Priyanka and Nick Jonas wedding (#Nickyanka wedding). The new year started with another Bollywood wedding, famous lyricist Sameer’s daughter Suchita recently got married and her wedding reception witnessed attendance of lots of Bollywood celebs and music industry celebs.
Amitabh Bachchan arrived with wife and actor Jaya Bachchan to bless the newlyweds. While Amitabh was dressed for the occasion in a blue bandhgala suit, Jaya wore a dark pink sari. She chose simple yet elegant gold kundan chain and paired it with chic trinkets and gold bangles.
Voice of almost all Bollywood heroines in songs- Alka Yagnik striked a simple pose wearing a grey toned lace saree with gold jhumkis and a statement bangle.
The newly wed couple Suchita and her groom graced the shutterbugs. Suchita looked pretty in a red lehenga with contrasting gold and green jewellery. The maharani style elongated choker teamed with chandbal jhumkis and maangtika looked stunning on the bride! She added a dash of glam with a similar toned kamarbandh as well.
Himesh Reshamiya and his wife Sonia Kapur also attended the reception. Sonia was seen in a pastel pink sharara suit teamed with ruby and kundan chaandbalis with pearl accents and matching maangtika with pearl drops.
Indian Idol judge and music director Anu Malik seen here with wife Anju Malik, she wore an elegant beige kurta-skirt set with golden work and accessorized with pearl danglers, statement ring and a gold bangle.
The bling master / music director Bappi Lahiri attended the reception with his wife. While Bappi da dressed casual but with his statement gold chains and rings, his wife Chitrani wore a beautiful rose pink silk saree with pearl necklace and gold chains with numerous precious stones rings and bracelets.
